The grain is from the Film grain shaders. Red planet flickering is from Windowed mode in most every case. Ensure you are running in Fullscreen mode. But as I said, the last thing is personal preference and not a glitch in itselfĭo not run KSP in Borderless Window mode. I tried various settings in the enbsettings.ini but couldn't really fix it. the whole thing turns into a white & bleached-out blob. Lastly, I know this is reaching into aesthetics which are always personal preference but something inside the Bloom settings seems to be killing the "nice" lighting of the Sun. I've noticed several weird glitches / flicker events in conjunction with the EnvironmentalVisualEnhancements and Better Atmosphere package. Whe whole affair seems to be dependent on where the camera is in relation to the Sun. The whole of Mun / Minmus turns red as well. I noticed a weird glitch when in EVA or map view: Kerbins landmass turn an orangy-red at times. the whole display becomes quite grainy, which is an issue for reading the glass cockpits provided with RasterPropMonitor Maybe these can be addressed at some time in the future so I thought I'd share: After one day of fun though, I uninstalled it again due to a few glitches and observations. This is really nice, it gave me a whole new experience in KSP. These files are enbseries.ini, SweetFX_settings.txt, and GEM_settings.txt Be careful and read documentation where available. On some computers, settings may need to be tweaked. Extract the contents of the 'INSTALLATION FILES' in your BlueHarvestPlusGEM-FXRC9.zip into your KSPwin folder with your KSP.exe, or wherever you have insalled it. NOTE: You can change palettes while in gameplay! This is convenient for setting your mood on other planets. Extract the 'd3d9.dll' ENB Plugin from the 'Wrapper' folder in the generic ENB download to your KSPwin folder with your KSP.exe, or wherever you have installed it. In order for this plugin to work, your Antialiasing and Antistropic Filtering must be turned off.ġ) Head over to ENB Dev and download ENB Series Generic: Ģ) Extract the "d3d9.dll" ENB Plugin from the "Wrapper" folder in the generic ENB download to your KSP_win folder with your KSP.exe, or wherever you have installed it.ģ) Extract the contents of the "INSTALLATION FILES" in your BlueHarvest download into your KSP_win folder with your KSP.exe, or wherever you have insalled it.Ĥ Optional) Pick a palette from the "OPTIONAL PALLETTES" folder and replace the "enbpalette.bmp" in your KSP_win folder with your KSP.exe, or wherever you have installed it.ĥ) Ensure KSP is not in Borderless Windowed mode and only in Fullscreen! Than, simply enjoy! If using Scatterer, pick your favorite sunflare mod, personally I recommend Sunflares of Maar. Reduced radius by 4.24x, bringing Kerbol into line with the 1:10.63 scale of the rest of the Kerbal universeĭue to a long-standing bug with the way KSP calculates solar heat, temperatures near the surface are extreme, with radiant power density approaching infinity! Bring your exploit shielding or it's a one way trip! Scatterer configs for close up corona glow and sky tint when in the Kerbolar atmosphereĬustom light curves for starlight that realistically changes brightness with distance from Kerbol Experience the searing light of Kerbol as you approach the corona, or watch is it dims to a pale flicker as you travel beyond the orbit of Eeloo.Īdditionally, for those who desire a more realistically scaled Kerbol, that better aligns with stock scale, a optional patch is provided to reduce the radius of Kerbol by a factor of 4.24xĪ visual surface that aligns with the true surface, opening up the possibility for spectacular close passes This change does not effect the orbits of the planets, as Kerbol's mass is unchanged. Towards this end, the radius has also been tweaked by an imperceptibly tiny amount, to get around a quirk in KSPs engine. With new high resolution textures, Scatterer support, and custom light curves, BetterKerbol attempts to remake Kerbol as eye candy worthy of pretty screenshots. No longer will it sit at the center of the solar system, ugly and drab.
